Lonely Mind
Photograph, 2017
I want viewers who see a lonely mind to understand how people are starting to lose control of their lives because of the pull of technology.
I hope to enhance the idea of how crowded our lives are by filling the frame with lights that lead towards the figure in the image.
After seeing this image I want my viewer to get the sense of how crowded the image really was. There’s the reflected light in one corner and the text in the other corner, this helps to confine the subject into his own space. I want the viewers to understand how our lives are slowly being taken over by technology and social media. We live in our world where nothing is really our own since things like social media and the internet can share anything to anyone. The only thing we have is the thoughts we can hold onto in our mind.
